PROFILE
Dr. Tae Seok Seo is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Kyung Hee University. He earned B.S. at Department of chemical technology at Seoul National University in 1996, M.S. at KAIST in 1998, and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University, USA in 2004. From 2005, he performed postdoctoral research on the micro-total-analysis system in the Department of Chemistry at UC Berkeley in the lab of Dr. Richard Mathies, His major projects involved in the construction of the total integrated portable microdevices for genetic analysis, high-throughput biomimetic cell-based assay, next-generation biosensors, and nanoscale chemical synthesis. He holds 125 international papers, 100 patents, 51 awards, and 6 technology transfers.
